Hey folks! I am Becky and welcome to my health journey! This is my way to share my experiences, the success and failures of trying to lose weight and develop a healthier lifestyle.
Fitness has always been a part of my life! I played soccer and ran cross country growing up. After I graduated high school, I joined the Army and my life revolved around physical fitness. Completing daily physical fitness training, ruck marches, and battle drills were a huge motivator for being physically on top of my game.
Spring 2017, I started school at Boise State University and played for their women’s rugby team. While the sport is very physically demanding, it was not enough to fill the voids in my life. I still continued to maintain an unhealthy lifestyle off the pitch. In 2019 when I graduated, I had put on more than 40 pounds.
Now 2024, 5 years later, I am finally in the right place to turn things around. I’ve spend the last year and half in therapy and will continue to do more work with improving my mental and emotional self. I am excited to see the hard work transfer over the physical side now! Please join me on this journey of loose a large amount of weight and creating a more healthy lifestyle all the way around.
