Hey folks! Welcome to Week 6 of my triathlon training series! (February 5, 2024 to February 11, 2024)
I am officially 24 weeks (and a few days) out from my the Spudman Triathlon scheduled on July 27, 2024!
I already did my weekly weigh-in and workout plan, and now I am ready to get started with training!
Week 6 – Weight = 217.4 Pounds
Workout #1 – Run 5 Minutes on the indoor elliptical
Workout #2 – Weightlift & Row For 8 Minutes
I went way to hard at the end of the row. I thought for sure I was going to throw-up. Going from weightlifting straight into rowing was a rough idea.
Workout #3 – Bike 20 Minutes
Workout #4 – Swim 500 Meters & Weightlift
I jumped right into my swimming session right after I got off of work. I didn’t have time to eat food so I went into fasted. The good news is that it was a really great swim! Probably the best swim workout I have done yet. I finished 500 Meters in just shy of 21 minutes. That breakdowns to to around 2 minutes per 50 meters.


Workout #5 – Bike 45 Minutes
Workout #6 – Run 10 Minutes
